I thank you for your great feedback. If at any chance you missed it, I highly recommend you read the first part of this article by CLICKING HERE.
Last week, I talked about of the common pitfalls prevent people from reaching their potential. What is in between you and your growth. I am here to present you THE GAPS and some small but extremely useful tips to overcome those.
We talked about Assumption Gap, Knowledge Gap, Timing Gap and Mistake Gap. It was very interesting. Now, We carry on to the next trap which is limiting your growth.
So, Now Let’s start….
5.The Perfection Gap-“I have to find the best way before I start”
Who wants imperfection? We all want to do the best. And why not? But the problem is that there is no such thing as perfection.
Now, I am haven’t gone mad YET! I checked the meaning of ‘Perfection’ in the dictionary and I found this: “a quality, trait, or feature of the highest degree of excellence.”But it’s really confusing. Who is setting this standard?
The perfection you define may be less than perfect from other’s point of view. The Same way, the perfection you define may be far more than perfection from other’s point of view.
I would like to remind you that We constantly change and grow and develop in our life.
Things are getting changed and developed continuously. Things which were perfect 5 years ago are outdated nowadays. So there is not such thing as perfection.
The bottom line is that “Keep Changing, Keep doing Better, Keep Developing”. That’s how we grow.

6. The Comparison Gap-“Others are better than I am.”
Yes, they may be. Now, someone jumps in and he/she becomes better person that him/her. More and more people are jumping in the ring to compete with you. Tell me, how many you are going to beat.
I blame our education system for this unwanted gift to us. We have been constantly compared with every single person around us.
This is unfair competition. If you ask fish to climb the tree, how it’s going to do it. The same way, if you ask elephant to swim as fast as dolphin, how the elephant is going to do it.
Remember, You are unique. You have your own skills, knowledge and ideas. Nobody behaves and acts exactly like you. You may be poor at doing something but you must be very good at many things where probably very few could do the same way as you do.
7. The Inspiration Gap-“I don’t feel like doing it.”
This is funny. People look for some kind of inspiration or so-called motivation to start off. Remember, as I said earlier on, Nobody is coming to do your work.
I completely agree with you that what if you don’t know how to do the task on your own. Well, the simple answer is that Ask for the help or get the help to get your work done.
Some people even wait for signal from the universe to start working on the project. Hey, Let me say, “ This article or any stupid picture is the signal from the universe. Now, start doing it. You need to work on the task/project/goal until it’s done.”

Till Next Week,
